Surya spends 6 days in a month for VIJAY TV

"Kaun Banega Crorepati" is a popular TV show in India. It has already completed five seasons. Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan hosting it so far. Bengali version ws hosted by Sourav Ganguly (Indian Cricketer) and Bhojpuri version was hosted by Actor Shatrughan. Now Tamil version of "Kaun Banega Crorepati" will be hosted by Actor Surya. This show will be directed and telecast by VIJAY TV. There has been talks about Surya's salary is 1 crore rupees for one day.

Tamil title for this show is "Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi' (You can win a crore). It will begin in January 2012 and will be telecast in TV from February 2012.

Murugadoss's new film

7aam Arivu (English: The Seventh Sense) is a medical thriller of the Chennai film industry (Kollywood), written and directed by A. R. Murugadoss. The venture, produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin, features Surya and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. The film score and soundtrack is composed by Harris Jayaraj. Ravi K. Chandran is the cinematographer. The film, which was launched on May 15, 2010 at Hotel Green Park, Chennai, is expected to release in April 2011. A Telugu and Hindi version is also being planned simultaneously. There will be lot of animation effects in the film, programmed by Stan Winston Studios, the technicians who worked previously on the special effects films for the Hollywood film Avatar and in Tamil cinema for Enthiran. Surya is playing the role of a circus artist. He was specially trained by a circus troupe in Thailand.
